Dr. Christos Kampolis

Christos Kampolis is a Medical Doctor specialized in Respiratory Medicine since 2012. His clinical and research work has focused on patients with systemic autoimmune disease and pulmonary co-morbidities and the management of patients with respiratory failure in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit setting. During the peak of COVID-19 pandemic, he was one of the sub-coordinators of the COVID-19 clinic and the Emergency Department of “Hippokrateion” General Hospital of Athens. Furthermore, he has participated as a research associate in projects funded on a European level in the field of chronic disease management in multi-morbid patients. He has also experience in statistics and is a teacher in three National MSc programs focusing on respiratory and intensive care medicine. Since 2020, he has been working as a consultant in Respiratory Medicine at the Emergency Department of “Hippokrateion” General Hospital of Athens.
