Prof. Nicola Montano
University of MilanHe graduated in Medicine at the University of Milan in 1988 and got his PhD in “Clinical Medicine” in 1994 at the same University. He is currently Full Professor of Internal Medicine and Chairman of the Department of Clinical Sciences and Community Health, at the University of Milan, Milan, Italy, and Director of the Division of Internal Medicine, Immunology & Allergology at Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda, Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milan. He is the current Past-President of the European Federation of Internal Medicine (EFIM). His research activity is mainly relatd to two topics: 1) neural control of cardiovascular system and 2) clinical methodology. He launched the Choosing Wisely campaign in Internal Medicine, within the EFIM and he is also coordinating it at national level (Italian Society of Internal Medicine). He is author of more than 280 full lenght papers and his h--index is 68 (Google Scholar source)
