Jakub Pawlikowski, graduated in medicine (M. D., Ph.D.), law (J.D.) and philosophy (M.A.). Specialist in Public Health. He had been working many years as associate professor at Department of Ethics and Human Philosophy at Medical University of Lublin (2008-2016), then was a Head of Department of Social Medicine at Medical University of Lublin (2016-2019) and a Dean of Medical Faculty at Cardinal Wyszynski University at Warsaw (2019-2020). He was also a Visiting Associate Professor at T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Harvard University, Boston, USA (2016-2017). His research interests are focused on medical ethics, medical law, spirituality in healthcare and public health. He is a vice-president of Polish Association of Spirituality Care in Medicine, founding member of the Polish Bioethics Society, as well and a member of Transparency Council in Polish Agency for Health Technology Assessment (since 2013) and member of ELSI (ethical, legal, societal issues) expert groups in BBMRI.ERIC (Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure - European Research Infrastructure Consortium).
