Prof. Dan Perri
McMaster University, CanadaDr. Dan Perri completed pharmacy and medical school at the University of Toronto. He undertook residency and fellowship training at McMaster University and the University of Toronto. He also undertook a fellowship at the Institute for Safe Medication Practices Canada. Dr. Perri is an Associate Professor at McMaster University with clinical and academic activities in the divisions of clinical pharmacology & toxicology and critical care medicine. He is the Chief Medical Information Officer for St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and the Chief Medical Officer for Project AMPLIFI – an inter-operability solution that digitally connects Ontario’s hospitals and nursing homes. Dan is an Affiliate Scientist of the Research Institute of St. Joe’s with active projects that include the application of machine learning to detect patient deterioration, enhance medication safety, and predict healthcare utilization.
