Target levels to correct disturbances of carbohydrate metabolism in patients with diabetes:CPG

General target level: ≤7.0% (53 mmol/mol)

Individual target levels:

≤6.5% (48 mmol/mol) – type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes of short duration, diabetes in children and adolescents (regardless of type)

≤6.5% (48 mmol/mol) – women with pregestational diabetes who plan conception and pregnant women in the first trimester

<6.0% (42 mmol/mol) – pregnant women in the second and third trimester

≤8.0% (64 mmol/mol) – elderly patients or patients with complications (macroangiopathy and/or other severe diseases, limited life expectancy, history of recurrent severe hypoglycemia or hypoglycemia unawareness).
