Types of liver cysts:

1) Noncancerous: Congenital and genetically determined (simple liver cysts, biliary cysts, polycystic liver disease), acquired (post-traumatic, parasitic).

2) Neoplastic (rare): Cystic tumors (cystadenoma, cystadenocarcinoma, angiosarcomas) or large, disintegrating, necrotizing neoplastic lesions (primary and metastatic).
