What are the advantages of insulin analogues despite their higher cost?

Cost is always a question when it comes to analogues. I guess if you’re prioritizing patients, then it’s those people who are close to the target—who are more likely to get mild hypoglycemia—or people who have had hypoglycemia in the past, because that’s where the analogues make the biggest difference.
