Do you use fresh or frozen fecal material?

Christine Lee: We do both. Because certain individuals achieve higher cure rate, we tend to use those few individuals and freeze their stool samples.

We have completed the frozen trial, and the next step we have undertaken is lyophilization, so freeze-drying. The benefit of lyophilizing, as you can imagine, is that we do not necessarily have to maintain the cold chain and we can ship it anywhere in the world.
