Emergency medical services often treat patients with diagnosed atrial fibrillation. What should they pay special attention to?

Bernd W. Böttiger: In atrial fibrillation they should just pay attention to the blood pressure, to the heart rate, to the oxygen saturation, and to any signs of deterioration of the patient. That is a very general suggestion but it is probably the right one.
