Dr Barbara Gunka, Dr Shamal Khattak, and Dr Carter Winberg—internal medicine residents at McMaster University supervised by Dr Leslie Martin and Dr Suzanne Turner—discuss the incidence and prevalence of alcohol use disorder and alcohol withdrawal in Canadian populations, as well as the continuum of care beyond the acute setting.
