Dr Sarah Khan, an infectious disease specialist and assistant professor of medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University, reviews the local and global impact of climate change on infectious diseases, with a particular emphasis on Candida auris as a novel antimicrobial-resistant organism.
