How often and for how long should computed tomography (CT) be repeated in the follow-up of a nonfunctioning adrenal incidentaloma?

René Rodríguez-Gutiérrez: The same as in the last question [see Follow-up hormonal tests in nonfunctioning adrenal incidentaloma], this is also a matter of a lot of controversy. Most experts, and this is an expert recommendation, will recommend [to repeat it] at least once, and that will be 6 to 12 months after the first time. Later on, the decision to follow up more constantly with a CT scan will be made on an individual basis.
