When could we expect no new cases of AIDS being reported in the European Union?

Philippe Morlat, MD, PhD: This question is a little bit difficult. We hope that in 2030—and that is our goal internationally—we will stop the epidemic in around 12 years, but of course it depends on each country. The epidemiological situation and access to care is different among different countries.

Our goal is 2030, but it will differ between the countries. In western Europe I think we can achieve it.
