Dr Aiman Alak, assistant professor in the Division of Cardiology at the Department of Medicine, McMaster University, joins Dr Khalid Azzam to review the role of optimal medical therapy (including implantable cardiac devices) in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and to discuss preliminary findings of a quality improvement initiative.
