We are happy to present to you the McMaster Textbook of Internal Medicine, an educational platform that will help you excel in your studies and stay current in daily practice.
The McMaster Textbook of Internal Medicine is the first Canadian textbook of internal medicine. With emphasis on ease of use and conciseness, it is prepared by specialist content experts for general practitioners, nurse practitioners, medical residents and students, and front-line health care professionals. The McMaster Textbook of Internal Medicine was developed through a yearslong collaboration between the Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine, the Polish publisher Medycyna Praktyczna, and McMaster University—a globally recognized leader in medical education and research.
Known as the birthplace of evidence-based medicine (EBM) and problem-based learning (PBL), McMaster University has been at the forefront of medical education for decades and is among the best medical schools in the world. Its pioneering role in developing EBM has revolutionized how health care professionals assess and apply clinical research, ensuring that patient care is guided by the most robust scientific evidence. Free institutional access
To redeem your code, you will be asked to (1) register an account with the publisher; (2) check your inbox and activate the account; (3) sign in and place an order for the McMaster Textbook.
Please note that your access is provided free of charge by your university. You will not be charged at any stage of code redemption.
Please make sure you have your activation code ready before registering. If you have not received the code yet, please reach out to your student representative.
- Go to https://piebm.org/mcmaster-textbook-account.
- Create your free account with the publisher and submit the form. Check your inbox for the activation email.
- Go to https://piebm.org/mcmaster-textbook-account once again and log in. You will be prompted to purchase a subscription. Proceed with the purchase.
- You will be presented with a virtual cart containing an annual license for the McMaster Textbook. Click the button “Add and view cart.”
- Below the cart you will find a box for entering promotional codes. Use it to enter your code. You will see the license fee reduced to zero. Proceed to the next form.
- Fill in the obligatory data and proceed to payment. (No actual payment will take place.)
- Confirm your purchase. That’s it! You can also see how to install the McMaster Textbook website on your device by creating a shortcut.
