Do you use lyophilized fecal material in the form of a pill?

Christine Lee: No, we have not. The reason is because there is always a risk of aspiration, particularly in the elderly. And it is not just one pill that they have to swallow. In some centers where they are offering a pill form of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT), they have to swallow 30 to 40 pills.
