How do you perform fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT)? What is your experience with FMT in ulcerative colitis?

Christine Lee: We are providing FMT strictly by retention enema, which is safe.

We have found that even in individuals who have had pancolitis—prior to the FMT we do have the colonoscopy photo—and then they underwent a fecal transplant using enema only, at follow-up colonoscopy there was no disease.
