What should be the frequency of follow-up visits in a patient with compensated cirrhosis?

Pere Ginès: Unless there is some other reason, usually we recommend to check these patients every 6 months in order to perform some laboratory tests and most importantly to perform an ultrasonography in order to rule out the development of hepatocellular carcinoma.
