How often is neuropathic pain caused by antiviral drugs in HIV treatment?

Philippe Morlat, MD, PhD: In the past many drugs had this inconvenience in that they caused neuropathic pain. Now, with the new drugs we have at our disposal, this side effect is really very rare, and so taking care of patients is not a problem.
