Mark Loeb, MD, MSc, is a professor in the Departments of Pathology & Molecular Medicine and Health Research, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University, where he holds the Michael DeGroote Chair in Infectious Diseases. He is the Canada Research Chair in Infectious Diseases. He is a member of the Michael G. DeGroote Institute for Infectious Disease Research (IIDR). Dr Loeb’s research interests largely focus on epidemiologic and genomic population-based studies on viral infections such as influenza, West Nile, and dengue. His scholarly work has been extensively cited, with over 49,500 citations (Google Scholar).
