The McMaster Textbook of Internal Medicine website and mobile app provide convenient access to textbook chapters, which are continually updated and expanded, with new texts added on a regular basis. Both resources take advantage of the digital format to supplement the chapters with additional materials, such as lectures, talks, reviews, and links to external articles.
Following a 7-day free trial period, users are asked to register at the publisher’s website in order to continue using the website and app. Once registered, users can enjoy unrestricted access to all resources until prompted for payment. Users who do not wish to purchase a subscription will maintain access to the News (the Spotlight section in the app) and Rapid Refreshers modules.
