Dr Abdullah Alalaiyan, Dr Amena Alhammadi, and Dr Alexandra Kobza—residents at McMaster University—focus on the obesity epidemic in Canada and review how to approach and engage a patient with obesity, evaluate the evidence for lifestyle modifications in the treatment of obesity as well as the efficacy of various pharmacotherapies and surgeries available in Canada. The webinar chaired by Dr Khalid Azzam was recorded at the Chair's Medical Grand Rounds on January 20, 2022.
